Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (depending on experience)

GSL Education is seeking a motivated and innovative Head of Design Technology (ideally with Graphics and Engineering experience if possible) for a secondary school in Grimsby & Skegness starting in September 2026. This permanent role is ideal for an experienced teacher ready to lead a successful department and inspire students through engaging practical learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Design Technology department across KS3 and KS4
* Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons
* Monitor student progress and departmental performance
* Support curriculum planning and development
* Mentor and support teaching staff within the department
* Promote a positive learning environment and high expectations
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools
* Leadership experience or the ambition to progress into leadership
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A commitment to raising standards and student achievement
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
