Systems Support Administrator

Are you a proactive and technically savvy individual looking to contribute to the smooth operation of Clinical IT systems? The Health Informatics team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated Systems Support Administrator to join our evolving Systems team.
As a Systems Support Administrator, you will provide administrative technical support and assistance for the Trust's Clinical IT systems, ensuring their reliable operation and contributing to high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Systems & Delivery team.
* Provide service desk/helpdesk support for the Trust clinical IT systems.
* Assist with system access control duties.
* Administer clinical IT systems, review and grant access requests, and support end users.
* Work closely with IT teams and end users to maintain reliable operation of clinical systems.

* Confident IT skills and strong work ethic.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritise workload, and meet agreed deadlines.
* Collaborative approach, able to support and work with other team members, and demonstrate flexibility to meet service needs.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 GCSE Grade C or above, including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).
* IT qualification (GCSE / A-Level or equivalent).
* Vocational IT qualifications (e.g., ECDL).
* Good comprehension of NHS clinical software.
* Customer Service training or qualifications.
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Providing administrative or technical support.
* Communicating directly and indirectly with senior personnel.
Special Skills & Knowledge
* Excellent organisational, inter-personal and communication skills.
* Supported and worked with other team members by having a collaborative approach and contributing ideas.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and work to agreed deadlines.
* Demonstrate a flexible attitude to meet service needs.
* Knowledge of systems administration.
Special Requirements
* Hold a current valid driving licence and be willing to travel across sites and partner organisations as needed.
