An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy Radiology teams within The Northumbria NHS Foundation trust - There are positions available at Northumbria Specialist Care Hospital.
We are seeking to recruit Radiographers to provide cover in busy departments within the trust. The post holder will be required to work out of hours and weekends, evenings and night shifts.
The post holder will be expected to actively take part in continuous professional development.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of the shift rota.
The post holder may be required to rotate between sites across the Trust.
There is an expectation that the post holder will actively take part in CPD and discussion. They will also help to mentor students and supervise assistant practitioners.

Job responsibilities
To assist in the provision of high quality Radiographic Service within Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust, whilst complying with all Trust and Department policies and procedures.
To carry out all radiographic techniques and examinations to a consistently high standard, professionally and efficiently following department procedures.
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This meansdemonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables andempowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams /departments and across organisational boundaries.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* BSc in Radiography or equivalent
* HPC Registration
* Must have evidence of ongoing CPD
