About The Role

Forest Green Rovers Football Club is looking to appoint an experienced, results-driven Partnerships Executive to become an integral part of our Commercial Team.

This is a role that offers an exciting opportunity to join the FGR team and help support, develop and grow the key Partnerships function, within the club.

The successful candidate will provide a combination of commercial, marketing, and administrative support to the Head of Commercial.

As Partnerships Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, creating innovative approaches to push the boundaries within our industry, maintaining key relationships with Partners and developing new business. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, a passion for sales and offers a great opportunity to develop as we.

For this role, your key responsibilities would be:

1. Manage strong communication with key Partners, to deliver the core Partner rights, campaigns and activations throughout the season.
2. Be pro-active with a commercial mindset to build out new initiatives and alternate opportunities that can strengthen the value of the partnership through research, creative thinking and activities
3. Work closely with the Head of Commercial to help develop a strong pipeline of prospects, in order to create new Partnerships.
4. Build strong working relationships throughout the club with key Partners, stakeholders and departments.
5. Opportunity to research and develop innovative ideas, events and approaches, that can support our sustainability ethos and our new development, Eco Park.
6. To work with colleagues throughout the club create a collaborative, positive environment to share knowledge and ideas.
7. Helping to support the key Matchday function to create campaigns, special events and strong engagement with our supporters.
8. Be a positive, trustworthy, collaborative, and effective member of the Commercial team, supporting the wider club when needed
9. Present a professional image when dealing with both internal and external contacts and partners, acting in a professional manner always.

This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and primarily based at our office and at Forest Green Rovers (FGR). Candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays to support matchday fixtures and events.

14. Motivated, energised and passionate about working within with our unique football club.
15. Excellent attention to detail and takes great pride in delivering a world class service to our clients.
16. Organised, effective and focused; plus, a keen eye for detail
17. Previous experience of working within a corporate partnership role would be desirable.
18. Passion for supporting a culture that demonstrates the club’s commitment to sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Other considerations...

19. This role is subject to a background check and DBS check, prior to employment commencing.
20. Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
21. A full driving clean driving license is required.
22. A high degree of flexibility is needed to work around the busy football calendar
