Youll be working with qualified customer enquiries and warm B2B leads, helping clients move from initial interest through to completed product. Many projects can run over 12 to 18 months, so this role is about relationship-building, clear communication, organisation and keeping customers updated throughout the process.
Youll also work closely with internal teams across product development, technical, quality, testing, packaging, planning and supply chain.
The role
As Account Executive, youll act as a key point of contact for business customers, helping them understand options, progress enquiries and move projects forward.
Youll manage customer communication, follow up leads, support quotes and help coordinate information between the customer and internal departments.
Its a strong fit for someone who enjoys dealing with people, building relationships and working in a commercially focused role where no two customer projects are exactly the same.
You do not need sports supplements or vitamins experience.
What matters is that you are confident with customers, organised, commercially aware and keen to learn a product-led sector.
What youll be doing
As Account Executive, you will:
* Work with qualified B2B leads and customer enquiries
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Support customers through long-term 12 to 18 month project cycles
* Liaise with customers from initial enquiry through to project completion
* Develop existing accounts and spot opportunities for growth
* Follow up enquiries and keep projects moving
* Work closely with internal product, technical, quality, testing, packaging, planning and supply chain teams
* Help customers understand product options, specifications, timelines and next steps
* Prepare quotes and support pricing conversations
* Keep CRM records, pipelines and forecasts accurate
* Maintain regular customer contact throughout each project
* Build product and sector knowledge over time

Youll need:
* Experience in B2B sales, account management, customer service, internal sales or commercial support
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A confident, professional customer-facing approach
* Good organisation and attention to detail
* The ability to manage follow-ups, timelines and customer expectations
* Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude
* Confidence working with different internal departments
* The ability to learn product information and explain it clearly
* Good CRM, reporting or sales administration skills
* A genuine interest in building long-term customer relationships
Experience in manufacturing, food, drink, ingredients, packaging, FMCG, health products, sports supplements, vitamins or private label would be useful, but it is not essential.
