Financial Planning Analyst

\nThis industry-leading Hereford manufacturer is on the lookout for a Financial Planning Analyst to support the annual budgeting process and strategic plan and provide analytical support to Sales in respect of costing, pricing and profitability. A role that would suit a part-qualified accountant, working for a successful and well-established local business.

\nKey responsibilities
\n
\n
\n\n
\n\t
* Supporting the annual budgeting process (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
\n\t
* Assisting with the quarterly forecasting process
\n\t
* Providing analytical support to Sales regarding costing, pricing and profitability
\n\t
* Analysis of margins, gross profit and cost savings for product range
\n\t
* Development of reporting for key projects
\n\t
* Ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial data by evaluating and implementing controls
\n\n\n

\nPerson Specification
\n
\n
\n\n
\n\t
* Part qualified accountant studying CIMA/ACCA
\n\t
* Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
\n\t
* Some costing experience would be ideal
\n\t
* Experience in budget/forecast preparation, cash flow, NPV and IRR and capital project management
\n\t
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\t
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
\n\t
* Proficient with MS Excel
\n\n\n
