TEACHING ASSISTANT FIXED TERM LINKED TO FUNDING We are looking for an outstanding teaching assistant to work in our school who has significant experience of working with children with special educational needs, especially those who have communication and interaction difficulties. An understanding of trauma-informed practices, as well as how to support children with communication and interaction difficulties will be important. They will also be able to implement effective behaviour management strategies to support children who are dysregulated due to their individual needs. The role could be to support in either Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, dependent upon experience. The successful applicant will be required to work 30 hours and 50 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 8.40am – 3.20 pm, with half an hour lunch break, 38 weeks per year.
