Project Support Officer (Ref: 231612)
Fixed term for 12 months. Part‑time 25 hours per week. Secondments welcomed. Based in Shetland (hybrid working).
Salary and Allowance
Band 5 – Salary Range £33,247 – £41,424 per annum (pro rata). Distant Island Allowance £2,482 per annum (pro rata).
About the Role
This contract is for a fixed‑term period of 12 months. The role offers project support across a range of change and innovation projects for NHS Shetland, integral to the delivery of programmes that aim to improve services and outcomes for our population. The postholder will work closely with project leads and stakeholders to ensure effective planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Required Qualifications & Skills
* Knowledge and experience of working within NHS Shetland is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build strong working relationships across teams and disciplines.
* Good attention to detail.
* A related degree, or strong evidence of extensive related experience.
