We require experience with Oracle database administration. We require familiarity with operating systems including RHEL, Solaris, Windows 2012, Windows 2022, and Windows 10. We require candidates to be able to work inside IR35 on an hourly rate up to £42. Responsibilities: We perform database maintenance and update activities. We implement database changes requested through change management procedures. We release new databases onto systems. We maintain database change control documentation. We perform routine data and software backup and archiving activities. We perform routine system maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure optimum performance. We diagnose and rectify system failures. We restart subsystems to recover from failures. We support our Software Manager with system, software, and database configuration management activities.
