Responsibilities
* Lead the technical architecture and delivery of Google Cloud solutions for public sector clients.
* Design, deploy, and operate secure Google Cloud solutions both on client sites and internal reference implementations.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to small teams ensuring successful project delivery.
* Leverage deep knowledge of Google Cloud architecture and engineering to deliver enterprise‑grade solutions.
Required Qualifications
* At least one Google Cloud Professional level certification.
* Expertise in a wide range of Google Cloud products and services (Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, etc.) and broader IaaS solutions (Kubernetes, systems virtualization, etc.).
* Experience architecting and engineering technical cloud‑based solutions to meet business outcomes and non‑functional requirements.
* Hands‑on experience creating comprehensive technical documentation (architecture diagrams, design specifications, operational runbooks).
* Experience implementing foundational cloud platforms (landing zones, IAM, VPC, networking) to enable scalable and secure Google Cloud adoption.
* Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to internal and client technical, non‑technical, and management stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines and scripting (Bash, Python, Perl).
* Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and tools.
* Hands‑on experience with networking across cloud and on‑premises (TCP/IP, subnets, VPC, load balancing, DNS).
* Proven experience leading small technical teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior members.
* Experience in site reliability engineering or IT production systems operations, troubleshooting live incidents.
* Excellent problem‑solving abilities, with examples of implementing technical innovation or process improvements.
