Activus Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established, Architectural business based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a motivated Architectural Technician, Part II Architectural Assistant, or Architect to join their team.

About the Role
Working as part of an experienced and friendly design team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality construction projects from initial concept to on-site delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
* Assisting with site coordination and design support
* Working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors
* Supporting planning, building warrant, and CDM compliance
* Helping to develop and refine project solutions for cost, efficiency, and buildability
* Participating in team discussions and collaborative design processes
What We’re Looking For
Applications are welcome from candidates at various stages of their career – whether you're a Part II Architectural Assistant, Architectural Technician, or a qualified Architect, our client is open to the right person, not just the job title.
You’ll ideally bring:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word & Excel
* Experience or interest in Revit (training will be provided if needed)
* A strong eye for detail and architectural construction drawings
* An understanding of CDM 2015 and planning/warrant procedures
* Strong in building regulations, time management, communication, and teamwork skills
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
* Leadership experience is welcome but not essential
