Role Summary
The Contract Manager is responsible for the introduction, coordination, and management of subcontractors across telecom infrastructure projects throughout the UK. This role ensures that all contractual and commercial aspects are handled efficiently, maintaining compliance, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal.
* Introduce, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements and company standards.
* Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
* Administer invoicing, verification, and payment processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
* Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and stakeholders to support project delivery and resolve contractual issues.
* Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms and KPIs.
* Manage risk by identifying potential contractual exposures and implementing mitigation strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and project reviews.
* Support the development and continuous improvement of contract templates, processes, and policies.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in contract management within telecom, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
* Strong understanding of UK contract law and procurement principles.
* Experience managing subcontractor relationships and performance.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems.
