What do the team do?
Our Outsourcing department is rapidly evolving and has quadrupled in size over the past two years to meet the needs of its ever growing portfolio of clients. They typically work with moderately sized firms from a plethora of sectors that require our external expertise to help support them with operating their finance functions.
This can be on specific elements, such as data-entry and maintaining their books and records, support with VATpliance, or through to providing them with insightful management accounts. We can also offer a fully outsourced finance solution, which epasses all aspect of an internal finance function.
We have a relationship centric approach and are trusted advisors to clients of all shapes and sizes, but they are typically owner managed businesses, giving you the opportunity to deal directly with the decision makers and to truly help shape the direction of their firm.
What is the opportunity?
Our Outsourcing team is actively winning new work across the region, as such we're always interested in speaking to those at Management Accountant / Senior Management Accountant level. Theplexity of work will depend upon how much experience you have, but you can expect to be involved in the following tasks:
1. Taking ownership of the delivery of outsourcing services for a mixed and demanding portfolio of clients.
2. Supporting others on work assignments giving clear instructions and aiding development.
3. Maintaining client's books and records, including reviewing processing performed by more junior team members and delivering feedback.
4. Preparing bespoke management reports for a range of clients, including processing up to the supporting Trial Balance and producing supporting working papers.
5. Applying in-depth knowledge of VAT, including the preparation of VAT returns.
What experience do I need?
6. AAT qualified, ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified or qualified by experience (Management Accountant level) or ACA / ACCA / CIMA fully qualified (Senior Management Accountant level) (minimum criteria).
7. Experience of using cloud based accounting systems (minimum criteria).
8. Client facing experience.
9. Experience inpiling management accounts.
10. Up to date working knowledge of tax including MTD requirements for VAT.
