As Principal Scientist, you’ll lead R&D activity focused on advanced semiconductor-based detectors, driving experimental design, prototyping, and validation. You’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s technical direction while remaining hands-on in developing cutting-edge imaging technology.
What you’ll do:
Lead scientific research and product development in advanced detector technology
Design and execute experiments for performance testing and validation
Oversee day-to-day lab activity and ensure high scientific standards
Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to meet project goals
Mentor and develop junior scientists as the team expandsWhat you’ll need:
PhD (or equivalent experience) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science
Proven background in radiation detector or semiconductor device development
Hands-on experience with photon-counting or energy-resolving X-ray/CT systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary projects
