About The Role
Park View Nursing Home is a purpose‑built luxury care home overlooking Prince’s Park in Liverpool. As Care Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for how the home runs, from care quality and compliance to occupancy and performance. You will need to be CQC registered and comfortable working within regulation.
You will be fully supported by a dedicated Operations Manager, and a local leadership team including the Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, nursing team, Hospitality Host, Administrator, and housekeeping colleagues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team.
* Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC.
* Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
* Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
Skills and Attributes
* Previous experience managing a nursing home.
* Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of achieving Outstanding ratings.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
* Proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home.
* Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person‑centred care.
* Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
Education and Qualification
* Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post‑registration experience.
