Job Title: Subject Librarian
The role involves being part of a team of Subject Librarians, managing liaison and business relationships for all Goldsmiths academic schools, and supporting all subjects and disciplines flexibly. Responsibilities include designing and delivering inclusive learning resources and workshops that enhance academic, digital, and research skills, both within the curriculum and through co-curricular activities. The role also contributes to initiatives such as online learning, research events, and decolonisation work.
Knowledge of the following subject areas would be beneficial: Art, Design, Visual Cultures, Media, Communications, Cultural Studies, English, Creative Writing, Music, and Theatre.
About the Candidate
You should be a collaborative and adaptable professional with a background or experience in librarianship or information science, and experience supporting learning in higher education or research settings. You will be confident in developing digital and in-person learning resources, possess strong communication skills, demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, and have the ability to build effective relationships across the university.
