Job Description
We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same. Your role involves providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Serving customers with passion and pride, encouraging feedback through surveys.
2. Working across various store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
3. Ensuring safety and following training to keep the store safe and legal.
4. Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events to promote an inclusive atmosphere.
5. Understanding store performance and contributing to profit goals.
6. Following policies, living company values, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
7. Managing shift responsibilities and ensuring accurate clocking in/out.
8. Following security procedures and safety equipment protocols.
9. Adhering to the think 25 policy for age-restricted products and responding to customer assistance calls.
10. Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
11. Potentially managing the store in the absence of supervisors.
12. If applicable, managing Post Office operations, including passing background checks.
