5* hotel and estate with high quality food, therefore seeking a Junior Sous Chef who has experience at AA Rosette level. You will be an experienced Junior Sous Chef or similar, with a passion for delivering great food, cooked and served to precision.
In your role as Junior Sous Chef, your main responsibilities of the role will be (but not limited to):
9. Responsible for producing excellent food to hotel standard and keep your section clean and tidy
10. To help the Head Chef achieve gross profit targets set within the kitchen, through stock takes, portion control, product costing and wastage measures
11. To work with a team of chefs to ensure all food is cooked and presented to a high-quality standard and ensure that their allocated sections operate in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner.
12. Be able to liaise with recommended suppliers as required to ensure a good food product and price
13. Able to help with new menu ideas and implement them with descriptions and recipes
The ideal candidate will experience working as an Junior Sous Chef in a high standard hotel environment and will have a passion for driving themselves forward.
