Roles and Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist for the Storage Portfolio, you will apply your sales and product expertise to close business for IBM, often in conjunction with Business Partners.
* Develop Winning Sales Strategies: Develop a deep understanding of competition and create effective sales strategies to win business for IBM.
* Sell IBM Offerings: Sell IBM Storage solutions directly to clients or through IBM Business Partners, utilizing your expertise to match solutions to client requirements.
* Maintain Product Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in a designated set of IBM Storage offerings to stay up-to-date on the latest solutions and technologies.
* Collaborate with Business Partners: Work closely with Business Partners to identify and pursue new sales opportunities and deliver IBM solutions to clients.
* Match Solutions to Client Needs: Utilize your knowledge of IBM Storage offerings to match solutions to client requirements and drive business growth.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Storage Solutions Expertise: Experience with IBM Storage offerings, including in-depth knowledge of features, benefits, and applications to address client needs.
* Sales Strategy Development: Experience with developing effective sales strategies to win business, including analysing competition and creating targeted plans to drive growth.
* Product Knowledge Maintenance: Experience in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of IBM Storage solutions, including new technologies and innovations.
* Business Partner Collaboration: Experience working with Business Partners to identify and pursue new sales opportunities and deliver IBM solutions to clients.
* Solution Matching Expertise: Experience in matching IBM Storage solutions to client requirements, including assessing client needs and identifying optimal solutions.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
* Additional Storage Solutions Knowledge: Experience with other storage solutions and technologies, including competitor offerings, to further enhance expertise and drive business growth.
* Advanced Sales Strategies: Experience with developing complex sales strategies, including analysing market trends and creating targeted plans to drive growth and expand IBMs presence in the market.
* Industry-Specific Knowledge: Experience working with clients in specific industries, such as finance or healthcare, to understand unique requirements and develop tailored solutions.
