We’re looking for a Learning Mentor to join an Alternative Provision service providing 1:1 support in the community. About the Role: Support pupils (KS2–KS4) who are not currently in mainstream school Outreach in community settings or at pupils' homes (all pre-arranged) Build trusting, therapeutic relationships Use trauma-informed practices and SEMH strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement Help pupils re-engage with education and routines You’ll Need: Experience working with children/young adults with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or additional needs Understanding of or training in trauma-informed practice A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Reliability, empathy, and confidence working independently Ideal for: Youth workers Teaching assistants or support workers Mentors or pastoral staff Psychology or education grads with relevant experience Apply now to make a lasting impact.
