Early Years Teaching Assistant – North Tyneside
Salary: £444.60 – £475 per week
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Are you passionate about shaping children’s very first steps in education? We’re seeking enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants (EYFS TAs) to join a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside. This role is ideal for someone who loves play-based learning, can support children with SEND, and wants to make a real difference in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support play-based learning activities in the EYFS classroom
2. Work with teachers to create a safe, supportive environment
3. Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND needs
4. Assist with preparing resources and leading group/1:1 activities
5. Be a caring, reliable role model during these crucial years

6. Experience supporting early years or primary-aged children
7. Confidence working with pupils with SEND
8. A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to child development
9. A proactive, flexible team player
