Due to sustained growth of the team, our award‑winning client has a rare new job vacancy for a defined benefit pensions consultant / client manager at the forefront of their Glasgow office. In this role you will manage a portfolio of DB schemes, working in a hybrid model with the option for flexible or part‑time work.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of clients and liaise daily with Trustees, Actuaries and external parties.
* Provide expert technical advice and communication on defined benefit pensions, cradle‑to‑grave administration and current legislation.
* Act as a true ambassador for the business, exceeding client expectations and consistently going the extra mile.
Qualifications
* Senior technical experience in defined benefit pensions (DB) is essential.
* Experience in client management within pensions and a thorough understanding of scheme rules and legislation.
* Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable but not mandatory.
* Strong grounding in technical work, with a proven ability to communicate complex information clearly.
Basic Salary
An excellent basic salary is on offer for the successful candidate, depending on experience.
