We are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist for Roehampton Gate School, a purpose‑built day school for young people with autistic spectrum disorders.
As a member of our therapy team, you will support students by working closely with other Therapists and multidisciplinary professionals, reporting to the Therapy Manager.

Environment
Roehampton Gate School is situated on Priory Lane and houses up to 70 young people with autistic spectrum disorders. The modern building includes specialist subject classrooms and exclusive sensory and therapy rooms/suites.
Working Hours
We are open to candidates who prefer a four‑day week; this will be reflected in salary pro‑rata.
Main Duties
* Manage and coordinate own caseload and implement individual EHCP/treatment plans for occupational therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered effectively.
* Receive and respond promptly to new students, undertake assessments to identify and prioritise student needs before planning and delivering appropriate and relevant interventions on an individual or group basis.
* Maintain accurate and timely records detailing each student’s progress and complete Annual Review records when required.
* Ensure the effective management of sensory profiles across the whole school and advise staff on correct implementation.
* Maintain and develop close working relationships with school teaching and support staff.
* Ensure clinical practice is in line with school policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards.
* Contribute to business growth by actively promoting the school’s therapy services in line with personal and school targets.
* Maintain effective communication links with students, relatives, carers and purchasers.
* Undertake training for school staff in line with EHCP requirements, including individual and group support.
* Be responsible for linking OT into the class setting for a strong collaborative ethos between therapy and education practice.
* Submit requests for equipment in line with supporting progress of all students.
Qualifications
* Registered Occupational Therapist.
* BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent profession‑specific qualification.

All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including D&B, and provide at least two references covering the last three years from placements with Children or Vulnerable Adults.
