BDO is an accountancy and business advisory firm that works with high growth businesses. As a member of our Audit team you will be responsible for delivering accurate and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Identify risk matters and raise them with a manager and/or partner while exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
* Identify and understand the needs of the Audited Entity, suggest technical solutions and communicate those solutions with Managers or Partners.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and established Audited Entities, identifying opportunities and acting as a point of contact throughout the year.
* Conduct rigorous project and financial management on all projects, completing work within agreed timescales and raising issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
* Qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAS or overseas equivalent.
* Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
* Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues concerning advice, regulation and compliance including anti‑money laundering.
* Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
* Experience supervising and coaching junior team members.
* Experience managing projects.
