Job Description
Reporting into our Test Manager you will:
* Design, develop and execute test strategies (manual and automation) aligned with business and technical requirements.
* Provide technical guidance to other SDET's in the team.
* Perform automation code review with peers.
* Drive implementation of automation frameworks and best practices across the team.
* Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement for QA practices.
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and product owners to ensure quality is embedded from design to delivery.
* Own quality metrics, report test results, and contribute to risk assessments.
* Guide root cause analysis for critical issues and drive preventive measures.
* Influence shift-left testing.
Qualifications
* Hands-on experience in a quality engineering test automation role for the software systems
* Experience with improving quality and delivering high-quality software.
* First approaches, security best practices, and shift-left testing.
* Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Agile testing, and SDLC practices.
* API testing experience using tools like Postman, Bruno.
* Automation frameworks development expertise with BDD/TDD frameworks like Cucumber.
* Strong scripting/programming skills Python language.
* CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo etc.
* Proficiency in cloud-based testing (AWS preferred) including services like S3, Step Function, Lambda, Event Bridge, Glue, Batch.
* Database/SQL testing, including data validation and backend verification.
* Performance testing exposure using tools like Locust, Gatling or Locust.
Useful skills:
* Experience with Big Data testing.
* Exposure to AI/ML model testing and validation.
* Knowledge of Observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk).
* Basic understanding of security testing tools.
