A nurturing primary school is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Office Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the smooth running of our school office. This school is a primary school dedicated to providing an excellent education and a nurturing environment for our pupils.
Location: Burnley
Contract Type: Full-time 8.30am – 4pm Monday – Friday
Salary: £13.75 per hour
As our Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff. You will ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the school office, providing administrative support to the Headteacher and wider school team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for tele and face-to-face enquiries.
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and supporting attendance monitoring.
- Assisting with admissions and school communications.
- Handling general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies.
- Supporting with financial administration (e.g., processing invoices).

We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in IT systems (Microsoft Office and school management software experience desirable).
- Experienced with using SIMS/Arbor.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
