Main Duties - Contract Specialist
* Support bid / no-bid decisions through commercial and contractual analysis
* Review and develop responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
* Manage contracts across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with commercial and customer requirements
* Conduct detailed contract risk reviews and implement mitigation strategies
* Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and contractual agreements
* Handle complex customer correspondence, including claims and disputes
* Administer major contracts, tracking performance, delivery schedules, and obligations
* Maintain accurate contract documentation and change control records
* Support programme planning and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
* Monitor performance and proactively recommend commercial and contractual improvements
* Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members
The Ideal Candidate - Contract Specialist
* Degree qualified (or equivalent experience)
* Experience working within contracts, commercial, or programme environments
* Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management
* Proven experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder engagement
* Ability to manage complex commercial agreements
* Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk and opportunity
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
