Overview
Pegasus Group invites applications for our 2026 Graduate Training Scheme. Join our Heritage team in the Edinburgh office to work on a variety of projects for diverse clients. This scheme offers valuable exposure and a supportive training environment.
What we are looking for
We are looking for candidates with an undergraduate or master’s degree in subjects relevant to built heritage, building conservation, archaeology, or other relevant fields. We are seeking graduates who can demonstrate:
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to use your own initiative and think creatively
* An understanding of the UK planning system, British history and archaeology
Work experience in Heritage is advantageous but not essential as you’ll be learning on the job with the Graduate Training Scheme.
Role responsibilities
As a Graduate Heritage Consultant, you will support a variety of projects related to the historic built environment, including analysis of historic fabric, archaeological potential, and aspects relating to setting. You will gain experience in heritage assessments, research, and other consultancy work, and learn to provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities, and other statutory bodies across sectors and clients.
