Description
Assistant Management Accountant duties include:
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
* Supporting the FP&A team with the budgeting / forecasting process.
* Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
* Provide financial insights to assist in decision-making processes.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Assist in preparing audit documentation and liaising with external auditors.
* Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Assist with transactional duties including monitoring of the accounts inbox.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
* A proven track record in a similar role.
* Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Be part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Good communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
