The role of the Tekla Draughtsperson Structural Steel will involve:
Tekla Draughtsperson position dealing with a range of steel fabrication and steelwork such as: secondary steelwork, specialist steelwork, staircases, balconies and balustrades
Producing general arrangement drawings (GAs) and 3D models from Engineers designs
* Liaising with clients, Contractors, Architects and Engineers in order to obtain any required information
* Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings
* Work closely with Production Team and Design Engineers to ensure drawings are suitable for on-site buildability and fabrication
* Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £2m
The ideal applicant will be Tekla Draughtsperson Structural Steel with:
Must haveTekla design / detailing experience
Experience dealing with steelwork, metalwork, balconies, architectural metal, staircases, balustrades, handrails etc would be advantageous
Must be capable of liaising with internal departments and customers
IT literate (Microsoft office)
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
