8a Neighbourhood Service Manager – Mole Valley CMHRS

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Neighbourhood Service Manager to lead our Adult Community Mental Health service (CMHRS) at Mole Valley. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive high‑quality, integrated care across local communities, working closely with primary care, social care and voluntary sector organisations. The manager will oversee the operational management and performance of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring services are safe, effective and responsive to the diverse needs of adults. The role champions a culture of collaboration, recovery and inclusion, and supports staff wellbeing and professional development.
Main duties of the job
Operational Leadership: Support the General Manager in leading the integrated community mental health team and ensuring high‑quality service delivery for all adults 18+. Develop, review and maintain systems to align the service with national standards, CQC guidelines, local Trust policies and service plans. Collaborate with other teams and work across organisational boundaries to achieve effective service alignment and implement strategies that promote involvement and recovery.
Team Management, Leadership and Development: Manage, support and develop a team of mental health professionals, including VCSE staff, within the service. Coordinate roles, responsibilities and resources. Provide structures for staff to receive management and clinical/professional supervision. Foster a collaborative, supportive work environment, encouraging teamwork, professional growth and service excellence. Ensure all staff adhere to policies and practices that ensure high quality care and service delivery.

Person Specification
Education
* Professional qualification at Diploma/Degree level, e.g. RMN, HCPC, SWE.
* Leadership/Management qualification or relevant training and experience.
Experience
* Significant experience at a management level in a health or social care provider service.
* Extensive experience working in adult mental health services.
* Experience of working closely with people with lived experience and carer representatives to co‑design service improvements.
* Demonstrable experience of managing staff and budgets.

Salary: £59,798 to £67,020 a year, including 5% HCAS (pro rata).
