Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Trainee Mortgage Broker operating within 15 miles of Central London, your responsibilities will include:
• Learning the full mortgage process, mortgage products, lender criteria, systems, FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Advising clients referred directly from the estate agency team, delivering clear and compliant mortgage recommendations.
• Conducting detailed financial fact-finds to assess affordability and long-term suitability.
• Researching whole-of-market mortgage products to match individual client needs.
• Guiding clients through the full mortgage journey—from the first appointment through to completion.
• Preparing, submitting, and tracking mortgage applications and supporting documentation.
• Liaising with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and estate agency colleagues to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Attending regular training, development workshops, mentoring sessions and one-to-one coaching.
• Working with both first-time buyers and experienced, often HNW clients, taking advantage of high earnings potential from high-value transactions.
• Achieving performance, service and compliance standards in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements
To succeed as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in a competitive marketplace within 15 miles of Central London, you will need:
