Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across commercial properties. This is a full‑time role with fixed hours (Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm) and a clear overtime structure. Youll enjoy a steady workload with scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance for commercial plumbing systems.
* Perform general building services maintenance across a range of facilities.
* Repair cracked pipes, clear clogged drainage and maintain complex plumbing systems such as washer units, steam cleaning devices, air compressors, hydraulic lifts, water/drainage systems and sprinkler systems.
* Conduct leak detection tests, solder/braze tubing and piping, install and repair components in water heaters, tanks, sinks, showers and storage facilities.
* Install, modify and repair plumbing systems including valves, traps, unions and backflow prevention devices in compliance with local codes.
* Diagnose faults and carry out routine maintenance and installation work.
* Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards within Facilities Management (FM) and commercial property environments.
* Travel between sites as required, using company‑provided van, phone and PDA.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in mechanical building services maintenance, including fault finding, routine maintenance and installation work.
* Strong background in Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) for building services.
* Proven track record within Facilities Management or commercial property environments.
* Level 2/3 plumbing qualification.
* Full UK driving licence (travel required).
