Business Support Officer (Development Management) Location Trafford Town Hall, Talbot Road, Stretford, Manchester, M32 0TH Salary range Band 3 - 25,989 - 28,142 Trafford council is a Living Wage Employer. Contract type 1 Year Fixed Term Application deadline 6 th November 2025 Interview date 14 th November 2025 About the Role We are seeking a Business Support Officer who shares our commitment to customer care. As part of the Place Business Support Team, you will assist in providing Business Support to our Development Management Team. You will deal with correspondence and incoming calls from both internal and external customers and use a variety of back-office systems to complete a range of tasks requiring accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills, ability to work within a team and be able to work on their own initiative. You must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and experience with Idox Uniform is desirable, although training will be provided. Working as part of a busy team, you will possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the Planning Service / Development Management would be an advantage.
