Band C NJC SCP5 Part Time Permanent Working Hours 30.86 hours per week on a 39 weeks per year contract Start Date: 01 September 2026 Meadowside School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 1). This is a school for approximately 115 pupils with severe and complex needs, ranging from 11-19 years of age. Our pupil numbers are increasing, and we are excited to be opening a second post-16 site at Leasowe in September. Applicants should be able to work at either of our school sites. We require an energetic Teaching Assistant, preferably with relevant experience of working with pupils with special needs, to join our friendly team. Applicants should have a secure knowledge of child development and be highly committed to supporting teaching and learning, both on and off site. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. These posts require an enhanced DBS check.
