IT Asset Management Team Leader:Aspart of IT Business Management (ITBM), this role will be responsible forleading a team managing the IT Asset Management (ITAM) lifecycle for Ageas UK
The ITAM Team Leader’s responsibilities will include planning, acquiring,deploying, maintaining, and disposing of IT assets, ensuring optimalutilisation, cost-efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations. Thisrole also includes tracking the managing the financial aspects of ITAM,including invoicing and payments tracking, as well as supporting cost centremanagers with quarterly and annual budget reviews linked to hardware assets.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain acomprehensive inventory of all IT assets, including their specifications,location, ownership, and financial information.
* Trackall ITAM related expenses and contribute to budget planning and forecasting.Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate ateam of ITAM administrators, delegating tasks and responsibilitieseffectively and appropriately to team members.
* Generate regular reports anddashboards to track key metrics, such as asset utilisation, maintenancecosts, and disposal activity.
* Identify opportunities toimprove processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency with a view toimproving the customer journey.
Skills and experience:
* Proven experience leading andmanaging a team. Ability to motivate, influence and build a continuousimprovement culture.
* Demonstrableexperience of a role within an IT asset management team or equivalent function.
* Proven understanding of SoftwareAsset Management together with an clear understanding of IT hardwaretechnologies, including servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, andnetwork equipment aligned to an understanding of how complex IT functionsdeploy these technologies.
* Solid understanding of assetmanagement best practices, including ITIL and ISO standards.
* Experienced with ITAM or assettracking software and databases.
