Electrician (Maintenance) Locations to be covered: Southampton, New Forest, Salisbury areas Basic Salary: Circa £38k to £40k plus van, fuel card, callout, overtime, standby, and benefits Maintenance Electrician Our client provides high quality building maintenance to a wide variety of clients including Local Authorities, housing associations, commercial and private customers - primarily in Southampton, New Forest, Salisbury and the surrounding areas. They are currently looking to expand their Electrical team to work on contracts within this area. They will consider both Permanent, and Temporary-to-Permanent scenarios. What you'll be doing Inspection and testing of fixed wire circuits Carrying out rewires and installations Fire & intruder alarms, door entry systems, floodlight and other specialist work Producing NICEIC electrical certification and daily reports for our records. What you'll bring: Essential skills and qualifications 18th Edition (Level 3 Award in the Requirements Electrical Installations BS7671) NVQ 3 Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment Diploma or equivalent Strong communication skills Up-to-date knowledge of regulations and codes High attention to detail Great organisation skills Computer literacy Full, clean driving licence Desirable skills but not essential qualifications 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing Level 3 Requirements for Maintenance of Electrical Equipment or any other electrical certification) Gold ECS card Mobile Elevating Work Platform IPAF certification PASMA Any other Health & Safety certification such as Manual Handling or Gas Safety Awareness.
