A growing domiciliary care business is looking for a Care Manager to provide high quality services that support the rights of clients to live the lives they choose as far as they are able.This is a full-time role offering a salary of £40,000 + per annum (Dependant on experience) plus a range of benefits. The role is expected to cover the Hertfordshire region.What youll be doing as Care Manager:The role focuses on compliance with CQC regulations, staff management, planning, and maintaining excellent standards of care and safeguarding.Key Responsibilities -Service Delivery & Care QualityEnsure all services are delivered in line with individual plans and risk assessmentsPromote person-centred care, dignity, choice, and independence for all service usersConduct regular reviews of packages and update plans as requiredRespond appropriately to complaints, incidents, and safeguarding concernsEnsure delivery complies with CQC Fundamental Standards and company policiesCompliance & GovernanceManage and maintain CQC compliance and inspection readinessEnsure accurate and up-to-date recordsMonitor quality assurance processes and implement improvementsEnsure policies and procedures are followed at all timesAssist with audits and quality monitoringSafeguarding & Risk ManagementAct in accordance with safeguarding adults legislation and local authority proceduresIdentify, assess, and manage risks within domiciliary settingsEnsure incidents and concerns are reported, recorded, and investigated appropriatelyCommunication & Partnership WorkingMaintain effective communication with service users, families, staff, healthcare professionals, and commissionersLiaise with social services, GPs, district nurses, and other professionals as requiredRepresent the service in a professional and positive mannerWhat were looking for in a Care Manager:Previous experience is liaising with local authorities - ESSENTIALPrevious experience in domiciliary care management or senior care role ESSENTIALKnowledge of local authority commissioning processes - ESSENTIALStrong knowledge of CQC regulations and domiciliary standardsExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsNVQ Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)Ability to work under pressure and manage competing prioritiesFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleTo apply for this role as Care Manager, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.Candidate Source Ltd is an advertising agency.
