What you’ll be doing:
* Draft, review, and assist with a range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, supply contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and licensing arrangements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
* Maintain and regularly update a suite of contract templates, standard terms and conditions, and playbooks to promote consistency and efficiency across the business.

* Conduct contract reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
* Support the rollout and administration of contract management systems, helping to streamline contract workflows and improve document accessibility.
* Assist with commercial due diligence activities, including data gathering, review of key documents, and identification of risks or liabilities in support of strategic transactions.
* Support legal operations initiatives, including process improvement, workflow automation, and legal technology implementation to enhance team efficiency and service delivery, including the use of AI-assisted tools.
* Research commercial legal matters and prepare concise legal memoranda or briefing notes for internal stakeholders.
* Assist with maintaining accurate corporate records and ensuring the timely completion of statutory and regulatory filings.
* Track legal and regulatory developments impacting commercial operations and provide summaries or alerts to internal stakeholders.
* Assist with compliance reviews and audits, identifying areas of potential risk and supporting remediation efforts where needed.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal legal and compliance policies, guidance documents, and operational procedures.
* Support regulatory filings and correspondence, coordinating with relevant business units and regulators where required.
* Conduct legal research using trusted legal databases, case law, and regulatory resources to support commercial advice or decision-making.
* Draft and prepare legal correspondence, internal reports, and other documentation, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
* Coordinate with external legal counsel, including managing instructions and assisting with the review and implementation of legal advice.
* Assist with litigation or dispute management, including document collection, liaising with stakeholders, and supporting discovery or disclosure processes.
* Maintain well-organised legal files and databases, ensuring information is stored securely and remains accessible to the legal team.
What we’re hoping you’ll bring:
* Strong academic background in law, with an LLB, GDL, or recognised paralegal qualification (e.g., CILEx Level 3/4, NALP), and a focus on commercial/contract law.
* 1–2 years of experience working in a legal environment, ideally in-house and within a commercial legal team.
* Solid foundational understanding of commercial law, contract principles, and legal risk.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to legal drafting and document review.
