The Role
* Manage the Building Management System (BMS) package for the project, ensuring integration with other systems
* Oversee design reviews for compliance, functionality, and programme alignment
* Monitor installation, commissioning, and handover of BMS systems
* Implement quality assurance processes and maintain accurate documentation (O&M manuals, safety files)
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site
* Track project costs, manage variations, and support commercial teams
* Facilitate structured communication between project stakeholders and attend progress meetings
* Drive energy efficiency and sustainability through effective BMS operation
About You
To be considered as an BMS Manager, you will need to demonstrate:
* Qualifications appropriate to the role
* Ability to obtain/maintain CSCS accreditation
* Strong technical knowledge of BMS platforms and integration with HVAC, lighting, and security systems
* Proven experience in managing BMS packages within large-scale M&E or construction projects
* Ability to interpret and review design drawings and specifications
* Excellent project management skills, including scheduling and resource coordination
* Familiarity with commissioning processes and building regulations
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under time constraints
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
* Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
* Understanding of energy efficiency principles and sustainability targets
