#Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Tameside

#Looking to start or grow your career in education? Axcis is recruiting full-time teaching assistants across Tameside for placements starting this September. Whether you're experienced in a school or have supported individuals with additional needs in another setting (care, youth work or personal experience), we want to hear from you.
What the role involves:
1. Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in mainstream or specialist settings.
2. Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils.
3. Helping children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning or communication difficulties.
4. Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to create inclusive learning environments.
You’ll need:
* Some form of experience supporting individuals with additional needs (in or outside of education).
* A calm, caring and proactive approach to learning support.
* The right to work in the UK.
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
