Senior Environmental Advisor Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy and supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. This role involves up to 50% UK-wide travel and is agile in nature.
What you’ll do:
* Provide specialist guidance and advice to EHS teams and Project leads on environment and sustainability to meet requirements.
* Support risk management by defining environmental assurance regimes and conducting audits.
* Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
* Develop and maintain performance data and produce carbon management reports for clients and contracts.
* Ensure regular reviews of environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks.
* Support project teams to embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout project lifecycle.
Who you are:
You should have experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within relevant industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum Qualification - PIEMA
* ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
* Experience providing technical sustainability and environmental advice
* Experience reducing environmental impact of equipment and infrastructure
* Managing complex technical and change projects
* Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK
