Overview
We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our day-to-day business across Liverpool. As Service Delivery Manager you will cover different sites across the North Region, coordinating a team of 10 to 12 operatives, organising the team to work on all stock across the region, and reacting to and dealing with repairs as they arise. The base location of this role is in Chester, so travel to this site will be required. We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent unlawful working. To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject, plus ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership) or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing repairs, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard
* Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money, e.g. efficient use of materials
* Managing the performance of the team of operatives
* Maintaining compliance for health and safety, ensuring this is promoted and adhered to
* Handling complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations
* Working with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritised and completed in an efficient manner
* Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the customer is our main focus
Requirements
* Recent experience in undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment
* Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
* Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
* Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
* This role will involve driving on company business. A full valid UK driving licence is required
* In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

* £40,415 per annum (rising to £42,542 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
