We are a warm, person-centred nursing care home serving the Porthmadog community and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide exceptional dignified nursing care, including dementia and complex nursing needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Act as the Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) and RISCA
* Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight including finance, staffing, and safeguarding.
* Promote a person-centered ethos—fostering resident choice, dignity, and overall well-being.
* Manage recruitment, induction, training, supervision, and retention of a multidisciplinary team.
* Oversee clinical governance, risk management, complaint resolution, and quality assurance.
* Build strong partnerships with residents’ families, local health professionals, and regulatory bodies.
* Monitor key performance indicators, occupancy rates, and financial performance; drive continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Registration with Social Care Wales (Adult Care Home Manager) or qualification exemption via proven experience.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or a relevant degree plus a management qualification, or at least three years’ experience as a Registered Manager under regulatory oversight .
* Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN, with active PIN (preferred).
* Prior experience managing a nursing or residential care service, with strong knowledge of Welsh social care legislation and CIW regulations.
* Demonstrated leadership, budgeting, and regulatory compliance capabilities.
Desirable Attributes
* Experience in dementia, mental health nursing, or multi-site care home management.
* Proficiency with digital care platforms, quality management systems, or audit tools.
* Proven success in occupancy growth, service improvement, or achieving high CIW inspection outcomes.
