Hey! I’m launching a new social/IRL event brand in London and looking for someone fun, reliable, and a little chaotic (in a good way) to help shape our voice online.
This is a low-commitment, remote freelance role - ideal for someone who enjoys content and community, and wants to get involved with something creative and early-stage on the side of other work or study. Pay is £250–£300/month depending on experience.
About the project:
The Late Arrivals Club is a new events concept for people in London who feel slightly out of place in traditional social scenes. We host lightly structured, no-pressure IRL events (e.g. sports days, team games, picnics, film nights, creative challenges) designed for connection without the cringe.
This is a pre-launch, pre-funding passion project being built by one person - no team, no traction yet, just vibes and spreadsheets. That’s why the pay is modest, but expectations are light too.
What you’ll be doing:
* Creating & scheduling 1 engaging, brand-aligned post per weekday (primarily for Instagram & TikTok)
* Lightly repurposing content across platforms (e.g. Threads, LinkedIn, possibly Twitter)
* Responding to comments and messages in a casual, friendly voice
* Gathering any relevant feedback or insights from the community
* Suggesting ideas for fun, weird, or playful social content
* Doing light-touch reporting (what worked, what didn’t - nothing heavy)
* Using hashtags/keywords thoughtfully for basic visibility (light SEO)
You don’t need to be:
* A full-time content creator or strategist
* A design wizard (templates and vibe already exist)
* London-based (though you’ll need to understand UK/London culture & humour)
You do need to be:
* Reliable, creative, and good at capturing tone
* Comfortable working independently and remotely
* A fluent writer who can be warm, clear, and funny in short-form
* Interested in community, culture, or alternative events
Time commitment:
Roughly 1–1.5 hours/day, or a few hours a week if batching. Super flexible. Can be done anytime.
Logistics:
* Zero-hours freelance contract
* Rolling month-to-month basis, with the potential to grow into a bigger role if the brand grows
