Opportunity: New Installation & Field Service Engineer

Remuneration: £38,000 to £45,000 plus overtime & benefits

Role:
The primary function of the role is the installation and maintenance of Pressurised Ventilation Systems (PVS) on heavy plant and agricultural machinery.
· Attending machinery dealers to install PVS systems on new and used equipment.
· Attending customer sites including quarry, port, waste recycling and agricultural to install, service and maintain PVS systems.
· Identifying potential installation or service issues and solutions.
· Carrying out inspections and checks on own work as it proceeds and ensuring that the equipment performs satisfactorily and safely before handing back to the customer.
· Ensuring all work is carried out correctly and to the highest standards.
· Accurate reporting of new installation information and root causes of service issues via the company app.
Candidate:
· Experience at dealer or 3rd party system installer beneficial
· Familiarity with heavy plant and/or agricultural machinery
· Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems beneficial
· Ability to work independently and under pressure
· Willing to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home where required
· Personable, professional, reliable and presentable.
· Able to interact with customers in a polite and knowledgeable manner.
· Any relevant technical qualifications and experience considered.
· Regular early starts due to travelling time to customer sites.
· Full clean UK driving licence
Remuneration & Benefits:
· 50 hour standard working week (7.00 – 17.00).
· Overtime payable outside standard hours @ x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 Sundays where required.
· 25 days annual holiday plus bank holidays.
