Job Description
* Manage and oversee a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
* Provide expert tax planning advice, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
* Prepare and review complex personal tax returns.
* Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities for clients.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries promptly and professionally.
* Support and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
* Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations affecting private clients.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client services.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:
* A recognised qualification in tax, such as ATT or CTA.
* Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and compliance processes.
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of private clients.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
* A proactive approach to identifying tax planning opportunities.
* Experience in Trusts, Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains tax.
