We are working with a prestigious international law firm to recruit a Resource Allocation Manager for their London office. This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on optimising the deployment of legal professionals across the firm.
As a trusted advisor to HR and leadership, you will ensure the fair and efficient allocation of work to associates, trainees, and paralegals; balancing client demands with individual development goals and overall firm productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Centrally manage and oversee workload allocation across legal teams
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand capacity, aspirations, and business needs
* Monitor utilisation and forecast future resource requirements
* Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and process improvements
* Support recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and graduate initiatives
* Act as a neutral point of contact for resolving allocation conflicts and managing competing priorities
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in resource/work allocation within a law firm
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Commercially aware with excellent analytical and organisational abilities
* Proactive, resilient, and solutions-oriented
* Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion
