Due to business growth, we are looking for a skilled accounting professional to join our Corporate Audit and Accounts team. About the role: Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements under UK GAAP (FRS 102 1A, FRS 102, FRS 101) Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements for groups with complex structures Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns Producing statutory accounts for audit clients and collaborating closely with audit teams Managing a small portfolio of clients, including year-end filings, billing, WIP monitoring and supporting fee proposals Reviewing work completed by junior team members, ensuring technical accuracy and quality Providing guidance, feedback and on-the-job training to junior colleagues Assisting in the delivery of accounts-related training sessions across the department Supporting the enhancement of accounting processes, templates and technical resources Completing ad hoc client tasks and engaging in networking and business development opportunities Working collaboratively across the corporate division to support other delivery teams where needed Promoting equality, diversity and an inclusive team culture About you: A strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts Confident preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns Enjoy working with a range of business structures, including complex groups Organised, proactive and comfortable managing your own portfolio of clients Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues and build strong working relationships Take a supportive, developmental approach when reviewing the work of junior team members Keen to contribute to training, knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement within the department Work collaboratively with audit teams and other delivery groups Bring professionalism, initiative and an interest in networking and business development Actively promote equality, diversity and inclusion in your day-to-day work About the rewards: Hybrid and flexible working 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Career progression Electric Car scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Life Assurance Group Personal Pension Plan Flexible Holiday Purchase Scheme Enhanced Family Pay – maternity, paternity, parental, and compassionate leave Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 confidential helpline as well as online support
