Accounts Payable Clerk/ Ongoing Temporary Assignment/ Immediate Start/ Hourly and Weekly Paid Position/ Free Onsite Parking/ Hybrid Working (After Training)
I am looking for an immediately available Accounts Payable clerk to support a global industry leading business for an initial temporary vacancy. There is scope for this role to extend and convert to a fixed term contract.
This opportunity will suit a positive and enthusiastic team member with experience in a high volume and fast paced payables position. Experience of multi-currency processing and 3-way matching is highly advantageous.
Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities:
Timely processing of all Uk non-stock invoices
Ensure that all invoices are correctly coded and matched to relevant Purchase order.
Gain approvals to pay from relevant departments as required
Carry out regular Supplier statement reconciliations - requesting copy invoices/ PO numbers as required.
Proactively respond to supplier queries, aiming to reach an effective and timely resolution.
Log all queries and liaise with relevant internal departments as required to ensure prompt resolution.
Set up New Supplier Accounts, ensuring accuracy.
Accounts Payable Clerk Required Experience:
Proven accounts payable experience gained within a fast paced and high-volume environment.
Experience of 3-way matching and high-volume processing.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks accordingly.
Able to organise & prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships with external suppliers.
Problem solving abilities
Strong IT and Excel skills
Must be able to start immediately and travel to Warrington.
